THE Federal Government on Wednesday assured Nigerians that President Muhammadu Buhari who is in London on medical treatment was in competent hands.
Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, gave the assurance on Wednesday while briefing State House correspondents after the meeting of the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) presided over by acting President Yemi Osinbajo.
The minister, who was responding to a question on the status of the president’s health, therefore assured that there was no cause for alarm over the president’s health.
“The president is in very competent hands and there is no cause for alarm,” the minister said.
It would be recalled that President Buhari travelled to London on May 7, 2017, for the follow-up medical consultation with his doctors.
